From the very beginning, Grand Harbor has been defined not only by its beautiful surroundings and exceptional amenities, but by the people who make this community extraordinary. Our earliest members built more than a club — they created a culture rooted in generosity, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to giving back. That volunteer spirit became the heartbeat of Grand Harbor.

Today, as our community continues to grow and welcome new members, that legacy matters more than ever. The next chapter depends on those willing to step forward with fresh ideas, new energy, and a desire to strengthen the bonds that make Grand Harbor a place to truly belong. Whether lending a hand at outreach events, serving on committees, or sharing professional talents, every effort has meaningful impact.

Mark your calendar for one of Grand Harbor’s favorite traditions! The 22nd Annual GHCOP Golf Classic tees off Saturday, February 28, 2026, bringing members together for a fun-filled day of golf and giving.

This four-person scramble welcomes golfers of all skill levels and includes tournament play, lunch, dinner, beverages, a cocktail hour, on-course contests, and prizes. Proceeds support more than 32 local charities serving neighbors in need throughout Indian River County.

New members are especially encouraged to join this signature event and experience the generosity that defines Grand Harbor.

At GHCOP, investing in people strengthens our community. Thanks to the generosity of Barbara and Jack Reis, the GHCOP Scholarship Program supports the children of Grand Harbor employees pursuing higher education. Guided by the belief that charity begins at home, their vision became reality this year for five deserving students.

These scholarships are more than financial assistance—they are a vote of confidence, encouragement, and hope—strengthening families and building a stronger Grand Harbor community.

Rose Virgin exemplifies the very best of volunteerism at Grand Harbor. A dedicated supporter of the Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program, Rose works tirelessly behind the scenes in an essential role that helps keep our outreach efforts running smoothly.

Beyond GHCOP, Rose generously serves multiple organizations throughout the Grand Harbor community, always ready to lend her time, talents, and leadership. Each year, she also leads a joyful mission with the Children’s Home Society, organizing holiday shopping for children in need and rallying fellow “angels” to ensure no child is forgotten.

Rose is the quintessential Grand Harbor volunteer, reminding us that consistent generosity truly makes a difference. We are deeply grateful for her unwavering commitment to our community.

The Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program extends its deepest and most heartfelt thanks to the incredible individuals and corporate partners who make our mission possible. Because of your generosity, thousands of lives in Indian River County are touched each year—children are fed, families are sheltered, and those struggling with homelessness, mental illness, and hardship are given hope and a path forward.

We are a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to helping residents of Indian River County in need. Each year, we carefully evaluate more than 30 local service agencies through detailed applications, financial reviews, leadership assessments, and site visits to ensure meaningful impact.

Funds are raised through member-supported events including our Evening of Giving, Gala, Golf Tournament, and a year-long Annual Fund. Through this collective effort we hope to award $700,000 in grants to over 30 trusted agencies this year.

Your support makes this possible. One hundred percent of individual donations go directly to the agencies we fund, while corporate sponsorships cover our modest operating expenses.
